What is PCN

PCN is the abbreviation of Price Change Notification.

PCN informs the procurement team about the material's price change corresponding to a site/facility.

How to Create a PCN

PCNs in Aerchain can be created in two ways.

1. Direct create - Creating PCNs one by one on the Aerchain UI.
2. Bulk upload - Filling the PCN data into an Excel file and uploading it at once.

The Direct Creation

Please follow the below steps, to create PCNs directly.

1. Login to Aerchain.
2. Click Modules .
3. Click New PCN under PCNs.
4. Fill in the values.
5. Click Submit.

The Bulk Upload

Please follow the below steps, to learn how to create the PCNs in bulk, with the bulk upload feature.

1. Login to Aerchain.
2. Click Modules .
3. Click PCNs under PCNs.
4. Click the + Bulk upload button.
5. Choose a template from the Template dropdown.
6. Click Download File.
   ✔️ Transaction-Bulk-Upload.xlsx file gets downloaded.
7. Add your data to that file.
8. Click Upload File.
9. Navigate to the file.
10. Click Open.
11. Click Submit.
        ✔️ Approval pop-up opens.
    
12. Type the approver name.
13. Select the approver from the drop-down.
14. Click Submit.
