We are excited to announce the launch of Actionable Emails for the App Module. This feature enhances email communications for approvals by allowing users to review and take actions directly from their email, streamlining the approval process and providing a more efficient and mobile-friendly solution.

Purpose
This feature is designed to simplify the handling of PCN approvals. It enables users to approve or acknowledge PCNs directly from the email, and offers the flexibility to extend this functionality to other modules such as PRs, RFQs, and Invoices in the future.
New Functionality

| Dynamic Fields in Emails | Fields and sections displayed in the email are based on the overlay setup configuration. Only fields marked for actionable emails will appear in the email. |
| Section Customization | The email layout can include form, table, or item table sections. Aggregate fields (e.g., Grand Total) can also be included. |
| Content | The subject includes PCN details, requester, and request purpose. The body contains PCN request details and an actionable button/link for approval. |
| User Flow | The approver receives a detailed email with relevant PCN request information and can approve directly from the email. |
What to Expect
Upon receiving the actionable email:
- PCN Details: The email contains the requester's information, request purpose, and impacted items.
- Actionable Sections: The email sections display the relevant details for approval, based on the overlay configuration.
- Approval Action: Users can acknowledge or approve the PCN directly from the email, without the need to log in to the platform.
Future Scope
This feature is designed to be scalable and will eventually extend to other workflows like PRs, RFQs, and Invoices, providing a unified and efficient approval experience across various modules.
