1. Overview
We are thrilled to announce a new enhancement that allows users to add additional line items when converting a requisition to an RFQ. This update offers increased flexibility in the procurement process by enabling users to include variable costs, such as freight or transportation, which can be determined later in the process.
Previously, users were unable to add extra line items during the conversion of a Purchase Request (PR) to an RFQ. With this new feature, sourcing teams can now include these costs upfront, making RFQ creation more seamless and reducing the need for later adjustments.
2. Key Feature
- Add Extra Items During RFQ Creation/Amendment:
Users can now add extra costs (like shipping charges) when creating or amending an RFQ, providing more comprehensive and accurate requests to the suppliers.
3. How It Works

- UI and Bulk Upload Support: You can add items manually through the user interface or via bulk upload, making it easier to handle large orders.
- Amendment Support: This feature is available during both RFQ creation and amendment, giving you full control even after an RFQ has been circulated.
4. Use Case Examples
Example:
When converting a requisition to an RFQ, a user realizes that additional handling charges need to be included. With this new feature, these charges can be directly added before sending the RFQ to suppliers, enhancing the accuracy of supplier quotes and streamlining the procurement process
