What is RFQ Evaluations

The RFQ evaluation is the process of sending the supplier's quotes to the Subject-matter experts and getting evaluated by them.


Difference Between Evaluation and Quote Comparison

Evaluation is a step where you can send the quotes to be evaluated by one or many subject matter experts.


Evaluation is different from quote comparison. Quote comparison compares the quotes based on the quotes received from the supplier. Whereas, evaluation is done by an expert based on one or many factors. For example, an evaluation of a building contract quote is done based on the material supplied, competitive price, lead time, etc.



How to Send Quotes for Evaluation

  1. Click the + Add Evaluation button.
  2. Fill in the details.
  3. Click Submit.


The evaluators will receive an email and an in-app notification.


How Evaluators Should Evaluate

The evaluators should receive an email and an in-app notification.


  1. Click the Click here to view button.
    ✔️ It should redirect to the requested RFQ's view page.
  2. Click the Evaluations tab.
  3. Click Evaluate.
  4. Respond to the Evaluation Response column.
  5. Click Submit.
