What is a Scenario Comparision

The scenario comparison is a comparison between the possible buying scenarios and comparing the outcome against each other.


How to Create a Scenario

Follow the below steps to create a scenario and save them.

  1. Go to the RFQ view page.
  2. Click Analysis.
  3. Click Add Scenario.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Provide the allocated quantities.
  6. Click the Save Scenario button.
  7. Type in the Scenario Name Label.
  8. Click Create.


You have successfully created a scenario. To view your scenario, click the scenario list and scroll to find your scenario.


The Default Scenarios

To get you started with the quote comparisons right away, Aerchain provides a few default scenarios. They are:


Scenario
Explanation
Best QuoteHighlights the best quotes from the suppliers
Best SupplierThe supplier who has the highest volume and item coverage.
Incumbent SupplierThe supplier who supplies currently.
Worst QuoteThe worst quote from the supplier.
Best Quote Without Incumbent SupplierThe best quote without considering the supplier who supplies currently.
