What is a Quote Comparision

Quote comparison is the process of comparing the quotes received from the suppliers. The goal is to settle for the best quote.

How to do a Quote Comparison

The prerequisite to perform a quote comparison is that you should already have the quotes from the suppliers. Please refer to the RFQ creation article to create an RFQ and get quotes from the suppliers. Quote comparisons are further elaborated in this article.

What is the Evaluation and Questionnaire Comparison

If this RFQ has any evaluations involved, those will be displayed here. If not, it will be empty.

What are Quote Versions

The Quote version will have the breakdown of the versions of the quote each supplier has quoted. This is helpful if you want to see what were the revisions of the quote that each supplier has made.

You can use the Select Supplier dropdown to choose the supplier for which you want to see the versions. Or you can level it as All which is the default and displays all the supplier versions.

What is the Item-Level Analysis

The Item level analysis gives you the ability to make an analysis focusing on one item at a time. This will be helpful if you want to see the pricing comparison corresponding to each item.

What is the Supplier-Level Analysis

The supplier-level analysis involves analyzing the values on a per-supplier basis. The visualization gives you the quantity, initial price and amount, final price and amount, lead time, number of revisions, and percent of reduction. This is helpful if you want an isolated view of each customer and their values.
