What is PCN

PCN is the abbreviation of Price Change Notification.


PCN informs the procurement team about the material's price change corresponding to a site/facility.



PCN Approvals Explained

When a PCN is created, it needs to be approved to make it active. And only the category managers can approve the PCN.


If you are the category manager, please follow the below instructions.



How to Navigate to Approve a PCN

Follow the below steps If you are starting from,


The Aerchain portal


  1. Login to Aerchain.
  2. Click Modules .
  3. Click PCNs under PCNs.
    ✔️The PCN listing page is presented.
  4. Click on the PCN code to open the PCN which you want to approve.
  5. Click Approve.
  6. Type the approval notes.
  7. Click Approve.

The Email


  1. Click the Click Here to View button on the email.
  2. Log in with your credentials if asked for.
    ✔️PCN which requires approval is presented.
  3. Click Approve.
  4. Type the approval notes.
  5. Click Approve.
