What is Guided Buying

Guided buying is a module in Aerchain that helps you buy the correct product with less effort. This is achieved with the help of AI.

Guided buying offers two ways to choose the correct product.

1. Search and choose.
2. AerBot.

We'll see in detail how to use both of these options.

Manual Buying

Manual buying is where you'll search from the search bar and choose the best one from the list.

Follow the below steps to go with the manual buying

1. Log in to Aerchain.
2. Click the Module icon.
   
3. Click Guided Buying.
   
4. Choose a location from the locations dropdown.
   
5. Type in the product name that you want to buy in the text box that says Search by product, name, category, etc.
   ✔️ The products that match the text that you've typed will be shown as a result.
   

The field details are given below in a table.

Fields	Explanation
Green Diamond Icon	The green diamond icon means the following This product has been already bought. This product has detailed information about itself. This product matches the search criteria partially or fully.
Black Diamond Icon	The black diamond icon means the following This product has not yet been bought. This product doesn't have detailed information about itself. This product matches the search criteria partially or fully.
Product Name	The name of the product.
Type	Type/Category of this product.
Last Purchase Date	The last purchase date of this product.
Suggested Suppliers	The suggested suppliers are based on past buying experience and other factors.
Price	The price of this product.
Actions	Click this icon to add this product to the cart.

AerBot Buying

AerBot buying is buying with the assistance of AerBot - The AI-powered tool. This is useful when you do not find your desired results with a manual search.

Follow the above steps and then, follow the below:

1. Click Try Aer.ai.
   ✔️AerBot chat overlay opens.
   

Option 1

1. Fill in all the necessary details.
   
2. Click the Submit button.

Option 2

1. Fill in all the necessary details.
2. Click Looking for something else.
3. Type the required product name or details in the text box.
4. Hit Enter.
5. Fill in all the necessary details.
   ✔️ The product is presented.
6. Click the Add to cart button.
7. Optional: Click Edit Product to add more products.
   ✔️ Do you wish to add more items? confirmation pops up.
   
8. Choose No.
   ✔️ When do you need this by? date selector opens.
9. Choose a Date.
   
10. Click the Submit button.
    

    ✔️ The confirmation prompt is displayed. Choose accordingly.

    
11. Click the That's it! Go ahead button.
    ✔️ Getting things ready pop-up is shown.
    
12. Wait for a few seconds.
    ✔️ The Create Requisition page opens.
    
13. Fill in the form.
14. Click the Submit button.
    ✔️ The Approver confirmation pops up.
    
15. Click the Submit button.

Your has now successfully created and submitted a requisition with the help of AerBot.
