Explanation

This is one of the new features created to increase security.


  1. A Limited number of password retries.
  2. Auto account lock after the allowed unsuccessful retries.


Earlier when a user tried to log in to the Aerchain portal they didn't have a limit on the number of retries upon a wrong password. But, now we are limiting the number of allowed retries, upon a wrong password. The maximum number of wrong login credentials tolerance is now a configurable value. This can be configured on the organization level.


Upon the maximum allowed unsuccessful retries, the user account gets locked automatically. The user should use the forgot password option to reset their credentials.


This is an optional feature.
