This article helps you to understand the authentication and No-Authentication options and how you can apply in the Aerchain portal.


No-Authentication(No-Auth) option is enabled by the customer then it means the supplier cannot access the Aerchain portal and is required to login to the portal then can access the portal.  


Authentication(Auth) means the authentication is disabled by the customer. So, suppliers can access the Aerchain portal but with limited features only. If the supplier wants to access all the features of the portal then he has to login into the Aerchain portal. 


Auth /No-Auth can be applied to two levels:  


  • Auth/ No-Auth Supplier category level: 


Authentication can be enabled or disabled for only suppliers of the supplier category. To do so, navigate to the Supplier Category. In the Action column, click on 'Disable Auth' which means the supplier can access the Aerchain portal without login but with limited features. 


An email is sent to the supplier to carry out the transaction in the Aerchain portal. When the supplier clicks on the 'View' button in the email. Only the view page gets open from which the transaction can be processed. All the other features of the portal are disabled and can be accessed after sign-up/login to the portal. As shown below:




If you want to Enable Authentication then, click on the ‘Enable Auth’ button in the Action column. Then, the suppliers require to login into the Aerchain portal to access all the features of the Aerchain portal. 


An email is sent to the supplier and will redirect him to the login page of the supplier portal. 


  • Auth/No-Auth Company level: 


The customer can enable or disable the authentication feature for all the suppliers. 


To do so, navigate to the ‘General’ tab. In the ‘General settings’, select Enable Authentication option either ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ in the authentication setting.  As shown below: 



If it selects as ‘Yes’, then the suppliers require to login to the Aerchain portal to access all the features of the Aerchain portal. If selected ‘No’ then, the suppliers can access the supplier portal without login.
