Using a vendor template you can create a form that will help you to collect details from the supplier while onboarding them. You can create multiple forms for multiple suppliers.


First in the Customer portal, click on the "Org Settings" to open the supplier onboarding settings.



Now, once you open the org settings, click on the "Onboarding" tab from the left panel. As shown in the below screenshot.




In this section, you will be able to create a template that will assist to collect the essential details from the supplier while onboarding them. Initially, you will be able to see the master sections and fields. These master sections and fields are by default loaded in the system. 


In the next step, on the top right side corner, click on the "Edit" symbol. Using this you can edit the sections or fields.  

Once you click on edit, you will be able to see the below screen.


Check the below points to understand how the edit option works:

  • You will be able to change header and section level names when you double click on the names.
  • You can inactive the options which you don't want to be present in the form.
  • If the internal team wants to activate an option then they have to toggle the option and they can assign the user who will  use the option. This section will not be shown to the supplier in the form.
  • Click on the Save button once you are done with the required changes.


Edit the field details: Now, double-click on the field you want to edit. You can change the name of the field and type of input for that field. Then you can select the option either "mandatory" or "required". You can mark the field as active and inactive. If you mark as Inactive, then this field is not visible to the supplier in the form. 


Add a new row: If you want to add extra details in the form, click on the "+Row" button. 

On the right side of the top corner, you can see the "Internal update" button. If you toggle this button, then your internal team has to update and this section is not visible in the form. 


Add a new section: If you want to add a new section in the form then click on "+Section" button . 

Once you are done with the changes you can click on "Save" button. 


You can create multiple templates according to different suppliers. All the new templates can be saved in the "Template" section. You can name the templates according to your convenience.  


Click on the "Template" tab.  Now, click on the +Template button to create a new template. You can give the name to this template as per your preference. The saved templates can be sent to the suppliers while sending an onboarding requests. 


Add the fields and the details that you want to collect from the vendor. You can also select the predefined section from the master template by clicking on the "Add section" button. While sending supplier onboarding requests the dropdown will contain the names entered here. The saved templates can be sent to the suppliers while sending an onboarding request.


Once you have done the changes, click on the "Save" button. You have successfully created a vendor template.
